Police Department Hosts The 6th Annual

On Saturday, December 1, 2018, the United ISD Police Department hosted its sixth annual " Defending our Badge " Flag Football Tournament at the Student Activity Complex (SAC). Eleven law enforcement agencies, with a total of 220 athletes, joined forces to raise funding for student scholarships. A total of $ 2,750 has been raised to provide college scholarships to United ISD students through the United ISD Partners for Scholars Program.  The participating agencies included; 

1. Laredo Fire Department, Team Fire
2. Border Patrol, Team L.A.R.S.
3. Laredo Border Patrol, Team Most Hated 
4. Texas Department of Public Safety, Team Texas Tan
5. Rio Grande Detention Center (GEO), Team 96-ers
6. Core Civic CCA, Team Crazies
7. Webb County Sheriff Deputies, Team Honey Badgers
8. Constable Pct. 2, Mike Villarreal's Team
9. Laredo Police Department, Team Laredo Warriors
10. 406th District Court, Team Justice
11. United ISD Police Department, Team Good Guys

2nd Place was awarded to Border Patrol, Team "Most Hated" at the 6th annual "Defend our Badge" Flag Football Tournament with UISD Police Tournament Coordinator Ben Bondoc (far right) and Captain Aaron Salazar (far Left).
